Noise from transimssion/rear
I am getting a noice from transmission/rear. (Chatter) It sounds like The sound is coming from trans/rear. It does this at idle. Car is an automatic has 7300 miles on it.

I had a noise in reverse backing out of my driveway in my A6. Took it to the dealer. Their is a service bulletin out for this. They drain the fluid in the rear, fill it with some other stuff and it seems fixed. Easy solution, if this is the problem you have.

Just an update. They had to replace bearing. The TSB was performed first. But did not solve the problem after further inspection they found bad bearing. They replaced bearing now waiting on backordered axle part. They sent out request looking for one. I am getting the feeling that car will be there for a while waiting on this part. They are getting me a rental.
