Clutch Clarification

I have an 07 C6. My buddy tells me starting in 07 they were putting LS7 clutches in the C6 from the factory. Is this true? Or is mine still an LS2 clutch?

yes its true. I had mine replaced under warranty (07 coupe) and the part numbers were the same for the Z06 and the Standard C6.

thanks very much...i figured that was true...just wanted to make sure...i am replacing it with an aftermarket clutch and i have a buddy that may wants my stock clutch...so he wanted me to ask
