you suck, i went to moroso wed. and it was the best weather i ever ran in and could only manage a 12.18 at 116.27 (my trans is giving me trouble on the 2-3 shift, which is right before the 1/8) but i got my best 1/8 of 7.9 all on the factory tires it came with.
mods are Vararam, chuck cow tune,LG Pros,& 160 thermostat

Thanks, and the Z28 had slightly better air when I ran it to it's 11.8s back in 2005.
I can't imagine what a torque converter and a set of headers could do for this car.
Come on Marc, you already have an 11 sec car.
Go bolt on's and see if you can catch Dennis.
Then in summer air you will have a perfect 11.50 car with out beating on it.
I don't think I could ever catch Dennis, I just don't think the A6 responds as well to some of the typical drivetrain related bolt on mods as the A4 but maybe with a converter, some headers and a FAST intake I could possibly be competitive in that awesome Pro 11.50 class.

If I can get my car to run 11.5 even in the COLD I'll enter the 11.5 knowing in July & Aug I'll be 11.8+ but I'm hoping to do well in the cooler months, & get lucky with a good light here and there

Nah, my lights aren't very good at all (.333, .355, .670, .763 etc during last week's passes). I've spent most of my 200-250 passes in life so far just shooting for a best ET and now I'm paying the price for that every time I try and bracket or index race. I think I might be able to improve on it with a little more focus on the tree instead of the ET.
I think I got it down to a .024 once last time out when running in the 12.0 Index.
I went back to the track yesterday in hopes of an 11.7x and even though the air wasn't quite as good as I was hoping/expecting I was still able to improve on my 11.83 of two weeks ago.
Ran an 11.81 and then finally an 11.78 and I cracked into the 120s (and 93 in the 1/8th) for the first time as well.
Here are the slips (car number 364):
My lights got a little better too, cut that .04 that jpee was talkin' about above.
