What do you want/expect from the car; how much money are you planning to spend?

Get yourself some headers, an exhaust and a cold air intake. Depending if you have a shop do the work and if you buy used or new stuff, i would expect to spend around 2-3 thousand.

A Vararam, long-tubes and tune should do it. Add a cat-back if you want better sound. If you really want to step it up with stock heads/cam, go for a FAST. My guess is around 390rwhp SAE on a dynojet with that total set-up on a mn6.

how about those mods? tell me what you think:

"borla catback and x pipes and american racing headers and vararam cold air intake"

how much does it cost? I want to buy them new and installed in a workshop.

I went with Kooks LT headers, "race" cats, Callaway CAI, 160 thermostat, tune, Z06 mufflers (modded from 3" to 2 1/2") and a Pipedreams "NPP in a Box" controller for the mufflers. Obviously, the only "used" part was the Z06 mufflers. Before the mufflers, with only 900 miles on the car, I dyno'd 385 rwhp, 373 tq. Can't tell you what the mufflers sound like - ECS is installing them TODAY. I have heard the same mufflers on a C6 with my headers and it sounded loud and mean when open, quiet as "stock" when closed. Hence the reason I did the Z06 mufflers.

So far, I have been pleased with everything that I have done to the car. good luck modding yours.

Definitely headers first. We have some great deals on Kooks and Stainless Works, both are top quality and have excellent fitment. Let me know if you have any questions.
