I have a 2008 ZO6 with a small plug-in on the right side of the radio. I think it is to hook up an Ipod or other external music source. I looked on GM's site and they do have some information about a plug that can be bought from a dealer, but they do not give a part number or cost or any other real discription. I sure others have this same plug-in, has anyone purchased this adapter plug from Chevrolet or purchased and used a similar type of adapter plug to play their Ipod throught the factor radio? The GM info only calls it a: PMPC (Portable Music Player Cable. Any help would be appreciated!

You can buy the cable @ BestBuy/Circuit City/etc. Plug in IPod, selct aux and play away. Very basic and no radio controls. You still need to use the IPod controls to scan music on IPod. I believe it is referred to as 3.5mm jack.
