Power Top wont go up

Power Top wont go up
Hi all
I am posting this for my brother. He has a 2005 that the top will
not function. The problem started when the battery went dead
He jumped the car and took it out for a ride to charge the battery.
He stopped for gas all was OK. The car was charging OK all appeared
normal It was a pretty day so he put the top down. On the way home the car staled and had to be jumped it started right up drove home tried to put the top up and nothing except a very light click from the rear. He put the car on a slow charge and fully recharged the battery But the Power top still does not work. Any ideas what to check?

The power top will not operate if the windows are not working properly.
Since the battery died, the windows may need to be re-indexed by doing the following:
BTW, it sounds like it may be time to replace the battery.
