Default C6 HVAC Control Module

I am trying to hook up Heated Seats in a Corvette that wasn't equipped with them. I have a set of 2007 seats with power and heat. I also have a wiring diagram.

It looks like I can get a set of heated seat switches but the wiring has four wires that go to something called a HVAC Control Module which it says is in the dash under the radio. It shows 4 wires coming from this module.

Does anyone have a part number for this HVAC control module or anothername for it.

Thanks

It's the unit that you push the buttons on for your heat and A/C. You'd better be careful if there are any data wires on that circuit and I'm guessing there are if you're using 07 seat control modules. If you have a ground back feed through it then the car will not run.

Make sure you do it correctly.

Default Seat Wiring

Well- here is what I am looking at. The wiring diagram shows two wires come from the HVAC module to the heated seat module. They are wires 181 which the drivers heated seat module status signal and # 182 which is the heated seat control module inhibit signal.

Does anyone know if these two wires are hot or what type of signal they send and when to the seat module?

Thanks

Mike

I have successfully added the factory heated seats to my 2011 vert. other than the seats, needed to find the ash tray that had the heated seat switches. Wired it all up using the factory connectors.
