Minor 6spd manual transmission problem

My 6 speed tranny doesn't always want to go into 6th very easy. 50% of the time it will grind and you have to go back to neutral and then go back into 6th. I want to see if anyone else has had this problem. I called the dealer and they said that with my extended warranty, if they can't find anything they will have to charge me for the labor it took to tear into the tranny. I'm really not excited about either of those ideas so I just keep dealing with the problem.

hmm, I wonder if that's really a 6th gear problem or a reverse gear lockout problem? I don't have the problem, but maybe someone will comment.

Maybe

I was told by a trannie tech that the stick Vettes have a sycro for each of the gears.Maybe the syncro going out? Dunno,just guessing.Rod

No issues here, but I have an 07 with 2500 miles, so not a good comparison.
