Default MSD Ignition Coils

In my ineptitude. I bought a lightly used set(8) of MSD coils for my LS1 GTO from one of the vendors there, however, I failed to realize that the LS1's and LS2's have a different connector plug.

these coils will work on the LS2/LS7's and maybe LS3's.

my question is. Do I sell them for what I paid for them?
Or do I put them on the Z06 that will be showing up in 13 days?

given that the Z06 is stock and will remain that way, there really is no benefit to this.

just fishing for ideas.

Likely won't benefit the Z06 much, but it wouldn't hurt either.

I think your best option is to sell them for as close as you can to what you paid for them.

I would not bother. There are exceptions, but mostly bad feedback about them.

How much are you asking for them? I have an 05 C6 LS2 and might be interested.

I might consider the coil relocation kit from Katech or others and then utilize the MSD.....no real performance enhance, but looks great.

If the MSD coils were made of water and my **** was on fire, I still would not use them.

I don't want to jack this thread, and I apologize for my ignorance, but I'm curious as to what the problems you're referring to with the MSD coils. I've used their products for years with very favorable results. Thanks!

For years I have too, and there is nothing wrong with them. No noticable HP to be gained, but I have noticed better gas mileage with MSD systems.....to each their own.

I'm in the same boat, I have heard of issues with MSD in the past, but they have all been corrected. Nothing but good news all around.

I bought them for my 800 RWHP GTO, but I got the wrong style.
I'm going to sell/trade them, but this is a busy week for me. Keep your eyes open in the parts for sale forum on Monday next week.
