Default NEED HELP! Header install on C6 Z06

Installing a complete header/x-pipe/catback system on my 08 C6 Z06. Got the car on 4 jack stands. Drained the oil, removed H pipe and oem exhaust. I am at the point of removing the oem Cat's.

HOW DO YOU GET THOSE TWO REAR NUTS OFF THE CAT STUDS

I can get the two front one's off with no problem but the suspension arms are in the way of using a deep socket on the rear nuts. The service manual talk's about lifting the motor to gain access. Please tell me there is another way

The cat's and pipe have to come off, plus it is to tight to get your hands in there to disconnect the o2 wiring connectors ( on the passenger side) I installed everything myself on my 03 C5 Z06 with no problems, but the C6 is different when it comes to the cat pipes and were the 02 sensors are.

I know there is a lot of you that have done your own install......please give me some idea what I can do or some kind of special tool/wrench I can pick up or a "how to link" that would show and tell me like the write up for the C5.

I cannot find anything on the C6 installation procedure. The instructions that came with the Kook headers were mickey mouse and really for the C5.

PLEASE SOME ONE GIVE ME SOME HELP HERE: tewebb50@hotmail.com or my cell is 256-282-3773

install the o2's and route all the wiring before you put them on!

I think that can be done on the drivers side, however the passenger side is very hard to even get your hand down in there to where the 02 connector's are. I will try it. At this point I will try anything

Thank you for your advise.

You should just be able to take the stock cats off the h-pipe and then disconnect the manifolds and they should be able to drop as one piece. Just turn them sideways as they come down to the ground.
