Some say it will be out "soon". Most are pretty skeptical because they said that last year too. We don't even have any tested and proven results from it yet. If you have time and feel like waiting, go right ahead. If you're impatient and want power now, go with the tried and true FAST 90/92.

Yes, Edelbrock is coming out with a short runner intake manifold but it's really made more for higher RPM use and likely won't fit under a stock C6 hood anyway: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/genera...than-fast.html
Weiand (parent company Holley) has had an aluminum LSx style manifold out for many years now but it doesn't work all that well unless ported and even then it is no match for a FAST. They are of course also expected to release their composite Street Warrior manifold (designed by Starr) but it's about a year past it's initial release date, so far.
We DO need an alluminum $500 option. I am terrified to put a 150 shot on a $1000 FAST. I even thought about buying the Edelbrock and having a fabricator buddy chop the runners so it will clear the hood.
