Default diff question
Will the diff from an 05 m6 bolt up to an 05 a4 tranny? I want to get the better gears out of the m6 diff and want to do a direct swap is why Im asking. Thanks for the help.

I sold my 3.42 stock M6 diff to Chuccaria on this forum and he uses it to this day in his A4 2005.

Yes it fits.

Yes it will fit, but you will need to reprogram the trans for the different shift speeds.

The reprogramming is no prob. I have that situation under control. Im getting a shift kit too and it all going to be getting done at the same time.
