oil filter change over for ls2
any one know why gm switch to a different oil filter for 2007 vs 2006 ls2? i can't tell the filters apart other then the part #, something has to do with by pass? thanks

The '07 filter has the check valve built into the filter. Also, the thread size is different- thus they are not interchangeable.
