I got the quarters from Caravaggio since I have a Vert. Took a couple of hours to install. Paint was done prior to installation and buff out after installation.

Got everything from Gene . Also got the G.M. full length spoiler. Took my body shop 3 days to install everything and blend the paint to ensure a perfect match.

I bought all body parts from Gene. Looks like your car is Black so you'll have the parts painted before install and with a good painter there is definitely no need to blend.

I bought all my parts from Gene. My car is also black, but had been hit (while parked) so the body shop already had the paint used for the repairs, so there was no need to blend.

While I haven't sold all the widebody's in the country, I've sold a couple of hundred on this forum though. I don't leave anyone hanging

I bought all my Z06 suspension from you, very happy as well, i know you woulodn't leave anyone hanging, it's just that the Cdn $ is back down so the pricing is not as good as it once was, I also like the idea of you sending me "ALL" the parts i will need. I don't imagine we can do anything on the price right.

What is the total price for all the parts for the widebody rear conversion? Minus the wheels/tires.

Hi Frank,

Didn't get mine from Gene, but I had mine painted before the installation. I sent the painter my fuel door for the color match, and it came out great. The complete kit was then sent to me and I installed it myself with the help of an installation document a forum member posted. It took me about 8 hours working by myself, keep in mind my back was trashed years ago and a lot of time was spent just "relaxing" on the floor. I think if I had to do it again I could cut that time in half, easily. If you do a search you should be able to find the installation aide the member posted, (sorry, I don't have the link available for you).

If you decide to have them painted and install them yourself I wouldn't be too worried about doing the installation, just make sure you have a reputable shop painting them for you and you should be fine.

I bought my Z06 "kit" (rear fenders, brakes, bars, grilles, trim) from Gene for my Convertible. I had a very minor snag (1 wrong brake vent part) which he corrected immediately.

Personally, I think using OEM Parts is the best way to go, even if you have to modify the fenders to for a 'vert. Perfect fit with no surprises.

Subsequent purchases have been trouble free. Great customer service and the best prices I could find, and I looked everywhere.

The only drawback to this is a good painter wants the car in front of him to match the paint texture. Not to much orange peel and not to smooth.

Kit purchased from Gene. $1189 for the entire rear kit when it was on sale last month. After I removed the stock rear quarter panels, I installed the new ones just for a trial fit to make sure there would be no need for modifications after painting. All parts fit perfect.

Rear quarters and the lower valance panel are at the painters now. I did take them one of the stock rear quarters for them to use for color match. Color is (89U) Crystal Red. At present, there are no plans to need to blend into the other panels.

Swiftrider08,
I saw on another post you recently had wheels widened at Weldcraft. Can you post or pm me details? I'm considering this as well.

I live right around the corner from Gene's location, but I'd use him for everything for my GN and C6 even if I were in Anchorage...

And it's not just the prices (which are great); it's the fact that he knows our cars and always delivers.

I'm going to be doing the rear widebody at some point and the parts will come from Gene.

GM raised the price at the beginning of December, so the price since then has been $1289.99 shipped.
