Default A6 Gearing Costs/Options

I am looking to do 3.15's or 3.42's in my LS2 A6 and am wondering what people are spending on new differentials with aftermarket gears. Any recomendations of vendors is welcome too. Thanks

To do it right, I know it's quite costly (over $2k+).

I am interested in the same upgrade. Chuck CoW will do the complete gear change, including transmission tune, for around $2550.

I did the 3.42's with my '07. Really wakes it up with the A6 1st gear and good cruising RPM's at 70.

rpm transmssion sells the entire diff with upgraded shafts for between 1600-2200. Then the tune will cost you whatever your tuner charges.

I got quoted $1900 for a RPM 3.15 differential and $400 to install. $2300-$2400 seems to be the most popular range for this type of mod.

Make sure when you get a bid, that you ask about any "additional costs" such as the cost to ship your core differential back to RPM and any fluids, etc.

Hey man....Call me any time...914-332-0049.

We invented the A6 high ratio diff and I've got the best package available when coupled with my A6 ATTACK TUNE!

It's available by mail or for a complete install in our shop.

Additionally, We'll be sending some 3.42 rears to Texas this month for our VARARAM tuning trip.

Please call right away to guarantee availablity of 3.42 rear ends for yourself.
