Default Minor Electrical Problems

I'm having a few intermittent electrical issues on my 06 Coupe.

1. Sometimes the seat memory doesn't work right. It will generally do everything except move the seat up or back all the way. If I manually move the seat an inch or so and hit the button again it will normally work.

2. Sometimes my hatch release button at the back doesn't work and I have to use the keyfob or the button in the car to open the back.

3. On occation, the light sensor doesn't pick up that it's light outside, and I have to manually turn the lights off for the dash and nav to brighten up. At that point, the DIC complains "Headlamps Suggested."

Anyone else had these problems? Car is out of warranty, unfortunately.

Seat memory loss has been a problem since at least C5 days.
Sometime corrected just by re-memorizing the seat position.
Sometimes it can be corrected by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes to allow a system re-boot.
Sometimes you have to re-index the seat by manually running all the seat controls to all their far ends to recalibrate.
Sometimes just moving to fob #2 works.
Good luck!

Oh!
And the hatch release button gets dust in it and sometimes stops working.

I have a 2007 C6 Coupe with basically the same problems that have become worse. It has been to the shop 4 times in the last 6 weeks. They have replaced sensors, air bags and wiring. I ran into a factory tech who told me of two identified wiring problems. Under the drivers seat there is a harness that does not have enough clearence and pinches the wires. The other is more difficult to fix. It is in the harness, center top of dash. He said this is beeing addressed on new models but not on the previously built ones.
