Tranny help
I have a 4 speed 05 ... yuck.
Is it possible to make it a 6 speed auto or even a 6 speed manuel?
what would it take? Is it worth it?
Aslo since it is only 4 gears wouldnt 4.10 gears go in nicely?

I think the A4 is a great trans, and the reason I bought the '05. I swapped out the 3.15s for 3.73, got a high stall converter and BAMMM!!!
I did eventually swaped for a built trans, but again an A4.
Get a tune and have the shift points redone. It will take on a new experience. Also consider having the torque management tuned out as well as the rev limit points.
