Well....I'm not quite sure why you would want or need to do that. You can always just open the trunk manually with the key, and if you don't have a Fob you're not going to be driving the car anyway. I haven't seen your other thread about the lost Fob, but the only reason I can think of to try to disable the electrical opening feature would be if your car is parked outside and you're worried about somebody with the Fob opening the trunk. I'd be more worried they would hop in and drive the car away. The best way to avoid either situation is to just disconnect the battery and latch the hood down - they won't be able to get in and start your car, and they won't be able to open the trunk without the key.

Butt....you say "trunk" so I assume you have a convertible. Your fuse blocks in the passenger footwell will look like this (this is my Z06, but a vert will look the same):

You can pull either (or both) the relay in the bottom left or the fuse in the upper right.

If you have a coupe you won't have that trunk activator relay in the bottom left (it's incorporated in the pull down latch assembly), so you'll have to pull the fuse in the upper right.

That will remove electrical power from the latch release so it will only work with the key.

Beserk_195, as your Profile is not filled out it's hard to recommend anything, where are you? As far as the order taking a week, that seems to be dealer BS . Unless you are way out of the dealer warehouse system it should take only a day or two unless it's on backorder from GM and if your profile was filled out, it could be seen if the car is under warranty. If so then they should order it under a **** case and again you should have it in a day or two.
