A report on DMH cut outs
Tested them on my car for quite some time. Very happy with the product. They open and close very quickly and stop anywhere in the middle. I have had no problems with any exhaust leakage. The car sounds normal when they are closed.
I am installing another set on an 08 Z06 Saturday. The button is very low profile and looks like it belongs on the car when placed in the dummy panel directly in front of the center console. It can be wired with the secondary 12v plug in inside the console. If it is ever overloaded, you will find the fuse under the passenger side floor.
If you ever get the need to make some noise and then have the ability to go back to peace, I think you found a good product.
