Not attempting to to gather more HP or add any type of body kit. All I want is for my front tag to stay on. A $60K car and Chevy can not give us a real front tag holder. Anyway ordered a "show and go " tag holder but refuse to place it on the side as shown. It makes the front look like*&^^, so I installed it directly in the middle where there is not as much plastic to support the bracket . Anyway having a hard time keeping the bracket on tight with only support in the back. Let me know if you have any suggestions, so the Maryland State Police stay off my back.
Thanks

I also live in a state that requires two plates (Illinois). Kind of a stupid requirement, I did a little research on how many crimes were actually solved with the front plate . . . less than one percent. Motorcycles don't have them, in fact they are not required to have a front plate, and about 25% of them mount them in unconventional ways (vertical, on an angle, upside down). I was ticketed once so I approached it a little differently; my car is registered and insured in the state of Florida (where my daughter lives) and I run around with one plate. Costs me a little more but it makes me feel better. This is a "SORE" subject. Good luck
I also live in one of these states. Sometimes this can be an advantage. Like if you are pulled over for a more serious violation however the cop wants to cut you a break he can write you up for the tag (non moving violation) and give a warning on the more serious one example. I think front plates are mostly for revenue, makes it easy to write parking tickets.

Don't ask how I know.
I'm old and my vocabulary is from 'back in the day' so what is "Exceleratioin"?
