Short Shifter Question
I have purchased a Hurst Shifter part number 391 5086 which is for 05-06 C6 and C6Z. If I remember correctly I have seen something about the shifter or shifter **** being different on the 08s. I want to make sure perfect fitment before I start the install.
Please give me your input.

That model should work on 05-07.
I thought originally the Hurst C6 shifters were threaded just like the C5 shifters, and the only difference was the shaft was angled. I am curious if they changed the design to use the stock shifter ****???
