Cut Larger Holes?
I was looking under the hood of my 06 Z51 and I noticed the holes on both sides of the air inlet. I would estimate the intake holes to be 1 3/4" in width and about 3" in length.(Ball park Est.).Really small intake of air thru these 2 holes.Would my cars performance increase slightly if I cut both of those holes slightly? Perhaps double the size of the openings.Any takers on this idea? Thanks ,Rod

nope. you'll still be sucking nice and warm 100+ degree air from it.
The goal for better performance is to suck cold air. So your goal should be to have you air intake outside the engine compartment (like the Honker and Veraram and others do).
If you like to do your own CAI, I suggest you look at how the honker is made...you'll quickly realise you can do the same thing and design your one off from the stock box...I thought about it then got lazy and got me a used Veraram
