Default Couple moding questions

Is getting the handheld tuner and CAI together worth it.
Is there a site that sells canned tunes.
Can you turn off the Rear 02 senors and drive around with LT headers.
There not a dyno tuner near me thats why i ask.
Where is a good dyno tuner in west texas?
I wanted to do CAI, LT headers , and a cam mabe I should wait an do it all together?
Any suggestions?

There should be tuners in West Texas. Have the headers installed and then do a custom tune. As long as you do high flow cats you shouldn't need to tune out the rear O2 sensors.

This is what I did and it worked fine when I first got my car.

Vararam
Kooks w/ no cats
Diablo handheld (CAI/Header tune)

No SES lights (due to the header tune in the Diablo) and the A/F was in the ball park (CAI tune) im sure since it ran fine and the gas milage was nearly identical.

Dyno tunes always yield more power since they are able to make fine adjustments but when you are just begining to mod with a stock car, its no as important as say a H/C/Ported FAST car.

Its totally up to you.

Thats exactly what I did, it was just fine.

When I added the cam, I had Vengeance/COW do a mail order tune, I sent them my ECM.

Now that I have heads, I will soon add a ported FAST and THEN I will have a dyno/street tune.

Even mail order tunes are great for mild bolt ons
