Zip tie mod???

Zip tie mod???

Is it really true you can pick up 10-15 rwhp with zip ties on your intake???!!!

Ive seen previous threads on other forums that mention this, but none get into alot of detail...

So some questions I have (to the genius's out their):

1) Does it actually work?
2) Does it affect anything else in the car?
3) Does it last?

The only zip tie mod I know of was on C5's..Zip ties were used to hold the lid of the air box on..

Why ask this on the C6 forum? If you search the C5 forums you will find hundreds of references to the zip tie mod.

True but I did the next closest thing to a 'zip tie mod' on a C6 in my car before I got the Vararam on there.
I cut open the lids on top of the stock filter boxes exposing more of the filter's surface area, I doubt it helped too much though LOL.
