Nav Voice Command
I am putting an 08 Factory Nav unit in my 07. I have the Bose system so I understand the install. I do not have on star so I do not have a mike. What is involved in getting the Mike and installing it so I can have voice commands on the navigation unit? Thanks VNVETT

The mic is in the driver A pillar. You can buy a replacement A pillar and the mic from Gene Culley at GMPartsHouse.com. That said, the Voice command is so iffy that I wouldn't waste my time.

Yea, I don't really like it because it doesn't do accurate recognition most of the time. That and, what's the advantage of it when you have to push a button to use it in the first place!
