DIY Transmission Fluid Change Instructions
In an attempt to alleviate the horrible 1-2 and 2-3 shifts in my '09 C6 (click here for my thread detailing the problem if you are curious), I would like to change out the factory transmission fluid for Royal Purple Synthetic. A couple forum members have suggested that might help the problem.
I've never changed out my own transmission fluid but imagine it's pretty simple (I do my own oil changes, btw). Just wondering if there are detailed instructions describing the procedure. I've searched the forum but didn't find any.
Also, are the rear diff and tranny fluids the same? Or is the tranny fluid separate.
It's the Tremec TR6060 Manual 6 speed, Z51, btw.
