Xm mole removal
I have an 05 vert with the mole on the trunk. I understand that the xm antenna is in the mirrors on the newer c6. can these be installed onto the 05? how much trouble to do? any help would be gtreatly appriciated. Thanks

I would suggest that you remove the existing antenna and secure it to the inside of the trunk/deck lid. The signals should pass through the lid just like through the mirror cover with only minor loss of signal. You can test reception before you fill and paint the holes where it is mounted now. The other option is to paint it to match and you will be surprised how it blends in to match your car. The signals pass through the paint without a problem.

I was going to buy the mirrors from a wreck to save a little. didnt know if wiring could be purchased also and ease the install. I may try mounting it in trunk now to see how it performs. Thanks for the info
