Default RPM Wire tap in.

Hello guys,

I am looking for the RPM wire so I can tap in under the hood. Please help me find the easiest place to tap in.

Thank you.

I tapped into a Tach signal wire behind the instrument cluster for my shift light and input into my data-logger. If you're going to use it for an input to something inside the cockpit you might rather get the signal from inside the cockpit. If you want some pictures of getting a signal from there I can post some up.

If you're going to use it for an input to something mounted under the hood (maybe nitrous?), somebody else will have to give you some info on getting the signal from inside the engine bay.

So....it often helps to tell what you want something for to get the best advice.

On my 05 LS2 the wire is under the passenger side fuel rail cover on the gray connector next to the coil pack. Its the green wire on that connector.
