Center Console Whine
I posted this over the in Z06 section as well. I thought I would give it a try here too:
My new 2009 Z06 has developed a whine coming up from the drivetrain/center console. It only occurs after the car is warmed up and only from 2000 to 3000 RPM. It increases in pitch with the increasing RPM. I just had the transmission and rearend fluid replaced with Redline oils and the problem persists. I realize that it is probably just some harmonic vibration, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I am going to take the center console apart later today to make sure all bolts are tight on the shifter and anything else I can find. Thanks in advance.
