Default 07 Z06 Head/Intake Combo??

I have the stock intake and TB ported and I was going to have the heads ported also. Would It be more beneficial to simply go with a new intake manifold and heads. Or is there not the hood clearance for that?? What would be the cost HP differences of doing that and maybe having the new ones ported if applicable.

unless you go with a kinsler or something crazy like that and is extremely expensive its not even worth it. Get the intake ported and thats it for now man, still waiting on an aftermarket manifold for our cars thats reasonable.

We've shipped numerous 600rwhp heads cam combos using ported Stock LS7 intake. With a properly specd cam & The PRC LS7 heads you can make anywhere from 550-600+rwhp depending on mods & camshaft specs!

Are you trying to keep the stock cam? or has that been changed as well?

No I have a cam, ported TB and intake, Kooks headers, and electric cutouts. There is a place close by that is owned by a father and son. They did the previous work and i was going to have them port the heads as well. He said some stuff I didn't quite follow and said that their family race car has an ls7 and they are quite familiar with the engine and expected significant gains from porting the heads said it would cost 2100 bucks though. Didn't know If I should just spend the xtra cash and get a new manifold and new heads or if their wasn't enough hood clearence.
