Street cars benefit from road race tires like the 100 compound Nitto 555r2 (18" rim) or the toyo R888. The Toyo comes in a 295 and 305 that would likely fit the stock rear 19" rim but the best track options are never going to be a 19" rim.
I widened a stock front 18" to 11" to run a 305/35/18 MT ET street and thats the last word on traction. I run them on the street but they arent a daily driver tire. I dont take that car out to go flower picking.

The best is almost never going to be the easiest and cheapest but opinions vary. Personally, I get confused at why people look for the easy way out for wheels and tires yet they go through hell and high water to get power mods. Tires make the car fast like no other mod. Cheap out here and you get a great view of the back of all wheel drive cars.
I think the widened wheels are the single best mod I ever did. The C5r and C6r use 18's all around for a reason.....it wins.
