Default Killa Bee Air Intake Question?

I'm wanting to change my air intake system. Is the Killa Bee a good one or should I go with another system? I have an 09 LS3 C6 Coupe.
Also how much RWHP would it add? Thanks in advance

Killer Bee, Bee Hive & Vette-Air together I have w/ a ported TB.

It feels peppier, though I have yet to go back & do after dyno pulls for hard numbers.

there has been a lot of posts about changing intakes on the ls3. the feeling I'm getting is you my need a tune if you change from stock. I would do a search and check out all the posts on the subject before you go changing anything. as for myself I'm going to wait for a couple of years till I get some miles on mine.

If you are not going to do anything else to the motor, ie headers, cam, etc..then the stock unit will work fine. The issue that needs to be addressed is getting cold air to the intake. Computer starts pulling timing at 86 degree IAT. You can prop the shroud open or use Vette-air to get cold air into the compartment. Do a search on Vette-air or propped shroud. You will be busy for days..

If you're not drag racing then the LS3's stock intake is pretty good. I had a well known CAI on mine for a few months and had some surging at light throttle. Went back to stock and this car still runs like a beast. Like mentioned above, if you're not going to add any other mods and or a tune then stock is just fine.
