Default 2005 corvette cags install question

hello I just bought a cags skip shift harness from mid america for my 2005 corvette part number 603-703. the instructions are terrible either i am blind or just a idiot but i cannot find this stupid cags harness on this car i looked for it on the driver side of the bellhousing and cant find it there also there is a heat shield over the transmission with about 30 bolts holding the heat shield i hear people saying it only takes 10 minutes if it took them 10 minutes then i am hiring them as a mechanic due to the fact if you have to remove the heat shield. the photos that came with the instructions are not even close to whats in my car. please help

Hope someone with an 05 will respond, I installed one on my 06, and it was pretty straight forward. It is on the drivers side of the trans., up above another connector, [fluid level or temp sender ?] I just re-read your post. It's not on the bell housing, it is on the trans., back near the differential. Have another look, you'll find it.

The wire is marked to tell you how to do it when you look under the car.

The shop manuals will let you navigate much better when working on your car. Best of luck and enjoy the process.
