I just finished a katech cam swap, headers, etc. by myself and need to access the ALDL to tune the car. I have done this job before several times. This is an '07 ZO6 and I can't connect my HP Tuners or even a code reader to the ALDL. All these readers say its not connected?
Any ideas? Just started car and it runs but definitly needs tuning.

ALDL? Are you working on a C3 or a C4?
Check the DLC (data link connector) to make sure you have 12v+ on pinout 16, and grounds on pinouts 4 and 5. Also make sure that the car is in the "Ignition On, Engine Off" mode. Do this by pushing the bottom half of the start button and holding it for 5 seconds.

You've blown a fuse. If you pull up the carpet on the passenger side you'll find the fuse box and it'll be the one labeled "ECM" and is a 15 amp fuse.
Follow the line to the correctly named fuse. Typical Helms Refers to ALDL at one end of the circuit and DLC at the other end. Either way it shows pin 16 at the DLC and it supposedly goes to a 10 amp fuse
This is a drawing from a 2007 C6. One would hope it remains the same for newer cars
