I bought a Meziere electric water pump. I know the pros and cons of it. But that is my concern.
I have heard you can use a shorter belt b/c you don't need the belt to run the water pump.
Does anyone know what size belt I could run to bypass the electric water pump?
Thanks,
Andrew
Call Meziere they should know 760 746 3273
I asked them several question myself including emails they didnt even know how to wire their own wiring harness for the pump that they made????
This is another reason I do alot of research anymore before I do anything.
There are so many tuners that think they can work on these cars that just cant. Its sad but true
Good luck

i bought that ZIP harness which is to make the pump plug and play and if the pump went out then it would shut fuel off to the car so it wouldn't overheat...i asked my local shop and i'll be picking up a belt next week...they said run stock belt on the street and short belt at the track...
I called and emailed Meziere Jay Carson was who I spoke with He him self Said you with see No gain that pully free wheels. 0 drag.
Do you have the part# for the belt??? I try it and post the Numbers before and after the pump and before and after the short belt.
Part # and the name of your shop. You can PM me if you like.
Thanks in advance
Mike
