Cruise control issue....AGAIN!
Well, it happend again. I lost my cruise control. First time about 1 1/2 years ago. Threw the check engine light on too. At the same time, my clutch pedal spring fell out. Took it to the dealer and it was all related. They fixed it. About 2 months after, cruise went out again. No bother because I was leaving town shortly after. When I got back from out of town, my battery was dead. Got a new battery and that fixed the problem....until a few months after and it went out again. I took it to the dealer and they had told me that when it was replaced the first time, they ran the wire too close to the clutch spring and it cut it. They fixed it even though it was out of warranty. Well, here I am 3 months later and my cruise went out again. I am going to call the dealer and see if they will replace it as a prexisting condition.
