Default Dead battery and M2W

Just had my battery replaced on my '08 C6A NPP (garage kept, not DD) due to unexpected dead battery. Dealer thought possible dead cell, not sure but replaced battery anyway.

My M2W is not in the "no drain" configuration. Scanned the forum and it appears that M2W will draw some amperage; don't know how much and haven't had time to measure myself. Thoughts?

I'll configure to "no drain" this weekend.

Also, can the M2W be controlled by the Homelink on the driver's visor or must it be controlled b the FOB provided with M2W? Mine is currently controlled by the provided FOB.

Hi, as outlined in the instructions and based on your driving storage habits you need to choose your install options. Regardless of M2W our cars have a constant battery drain caused by the many systems constantly running on the car. Even without Mild2Wild installed, a rule of thumb: If you store and do not drive (or start) it for more than 3 weeks at a time your car should be on a trickle charger.

Installed as delivered Mild2Wild will does have a very small drain that allows it to remember the last setting, that drain if the control is left in the "OFF" setting will not cause a dead battery, left in the "ON" setting it will be 3-4 weeks based on tests assuming the car is never started or charged. On pages 3/4 you have the option to install with ZERO drain. I can tell you that on out car we have never had any battery issues with it installed and driving the car in the winter only once or every other week.

Mild2Wild can be programed to any HOMELINK visor, the problem is that GM changed over to a new system called car2u around 10/2006. It does not work with car2u

When you say "on" do you mean exhaust loud or quieter?

The remote has an "ON" (quite on startup/OEM operation) and "OFF" (100% loud/open), that is the on/off I was speaking about.
