For some time I've been thinking about installing my own headers. My hat's off to all you guys that do this in your garage and especially those of you that do it alone. After spending entirely too much time with a Honker install I decided to have Chris Harwood of Xtreme Motor Sports in Blountstown, FL do the header install and possibly save myself a major headache. Talk about a good decision and money well spent, this was it. Chris had the headers quickly and expertly installed with attention to detail and a few tricks that not only made the install easier but would have been out of my skill/knowledge range. Someone that has done something many times knows all the short cuts and potential problems. This was obviously the situation with Chris. Perhaps I might have struggled through, but would it have been worth it? Short answer, NO. Money and Time Well Spent. Nothing beats good professional work. It is worth every cent.

I installed my headers and my ported FAST myself with no previous experience, but, I really enjoyed it! If that isn't your thing, then I agree, it is 'worth every cent' to have it professionally done.
I assume this is an LS-2. With my ported FAST, I am right at 400rwhp/400rwtq. I appreciate your numbers since I never got a baseline on mine.

Nicely done.
Did you get the Fast moded to fit without the firewall clearance kit?
