Stock Intake Porting Questions
Okay, I pulled my stock LS2 Intake to send off for porting. I'm a bit confused here. What in the heck is there to port on these things? It's not like any intake manifold I have ever seen. My first LSx motor. It's obviously made of some kind of composite and I don't see any real areas to make any difference. Does the manifold get split to port? What the heck am I missing here?

They take out some of the meat on the inside. They actually take out a lot but it is a little hear and there. I believe if you check out LS2portworks they may show before and after. I've thought about it. I've got a Katech cam package and maxed at 558 rwhp. I've already done the ported TB but not the intake. Please shoot me a PM or email me at: ho52806@gmail.com when you get it back. That's the last mod I haven't done. Also, to realize full benefits you may have to retune.
