Default Tpms reset

I switched a complete set of wheels, tires and tpms from a 2008 z51 coupe to a 2008 stock vert. I thought i had to reset the tpms from the new wheels to the car,but the dic was showing readings 30psi, 29psi,30psi ,30psi. I drove 5 miles and still showing the same. Is this the old tpms readings which are not on the car ? Is the dic supposed to go into a different mode because of the switch? I did order a tpms reader but have not received it yet so i did not do a reset yet.

If you did not reset the TPMS, the display is not correct. You will need to index the TPMS for the different sensors that are on the car now.

Did you store the old wheels in the same garage?
