I talked to the kind folks at Nakid about a "plain" brushed aluminum shift **** ... BUT I wanted an etched shift pattern like they put on the billiard ( HURST? ) style *****. Some discussion about painted pattern - not a good idea I was told - rubs off. OK. Then a photo appeared in an Email of a BEAUTIFUL **** with a pattern that is etched onto it, kind of a shadow look to it. I said that I would take it. It appeared in the mail in a few days. Better looking in real life than in the photo! I installed it and when I finally got to take it out on the road .... dead silent! NO noise/rattle! NONE! It is maybe 2" shorter than the stock **** so it feels like a shorter throw and very, very firm feeling. The silence alone is worth the price of admission. What a nice piece to add to the car. I do not know, nor care to know, how to post a photo ... but I will try to email to folks that are really interested. OR - if the fine folks at Nakid will kindly add a photo in the next post or so .... PLEASE?
