HI. New here. I searched but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I have an 07 convertible corvette, and I would like to get a custom tune for. I find all sorts of things on hand held tunes, but I know from experience with my silverado, they dont do jack ****. I got a BlackBear Custom tune for my silverado and its like a whole new truck. The way they did it was send me a tuning cord. I hooked it up to my laptop, did some driving around, sent them the info by e-mail and a couple of days later I got a custom tuned PCM directly for my vehicle. Then sent them back the tuning cord and my old PCM and was good to go.
Is there some kinda service like this for the corvette. I have a 6 speed manual tranny. and the LS2.
I have not heard of anything like this for the Corvette. However, I'm curious about your comment that you connected your PC via a tuning cord to your Silverado, drove around and sent a file to BlackBear. Did BlackBear send you a File and software that would allow you to download from the OBDII Port?

What I did is send them 100 bucks (all of this through paypal) to put my name on the waiting list. About a month later they e-mailed me and said im next on the list. So I say "im ready" They send me the cord one end with a USB and one with the OBDII. I download the software from EFILive.com, and then data log. Send them the info through e-mail. I get a tuned PCM, and then I send them the cord and my old PCM back. There is a $250 deposit on the cord and a $100 on the PCM, You send them both back and you get 300 back. When I did it it was 200 bucks, but they raised the prices to 300. Still a hell of alot better than the handheld.
You can also keep your stock PCM if you want for 100 bucks.
They are vendors on the tahoe/yukon sites I go to. Everybody who has will will give them High marks, and I do to. Best mod I ever did to my truck. Im going to have one for my yukon done here soon since im trading in the silverado. I asked them If I could tune the corvette and they said they have never done one by mail and I dont have time to road trip it to alexandria va to do one in person. Which is about 5 hours from va beach va.
