2006 A6 differences from 08 and 09 versions
What are the differnces in the A6's in the model years?
I have heard people say there are diffences if there are can my 06 be upgraded at least with the new software.

I could be wrong, but what I understand from the thread below on this, it is not exactly the same GM "blip" thing. See post #11 on the below thread of "artificial vs natural"

The 08 software is TOTALLY IMPROVED and every car I tune gets it.
Call me and tell me what you need and I'll tell you how we can do it.

There is no "BLIP EMULATION".
TO CALARIFY: I CAN/DO ACTUALLY INSTALL ACTUAL 08 GM SPEC TRANS CALIBRATIONS INTO 06/07 A6 CORVETTES. ACTUALLY.
After UPGRADING THE TUNE AND OPERATING SYSTEM TO 08 SPECS, THEN, every 06 & 07 Corvette I tune gets my 08' A6 ATTACK TUNE on top of that.

PS Chuck.... believe me if I wasn't scared to death of voiding my warrantee, I would get your tune for my 08. I guess I have a lemmon cause my A6 is horrible.

Now, insofar as I'm aware....Last time I checked, didn't have the calibration files to tune 09 Corvette A6s... I can tune it with one package, but not the other. I have not updated my software in a while, so maybe I can....but...I have not tried.
I intentionally use BOTH popular tuning packages to create the (1)A6 ATTACK TUNE I use.
I know that 08 software is WAAAYYYY better than 06 and 07 and when I e-mailed the first 09' Vette A6 cals to the gods to review, they told me that there would be a delay in preparing the tuning software as, again, the 09 A6 software was vastly different than even the popular 08 I've been using.
For 09' Corvettes, I've been using my very popular 08 ATTACK TUNE and it works awesome.
Interestingly enough....and this NEVER HAPPENS....08 & 09 G8 A6's have EXACTLY the SAME A6 tune... Go figure??? Not sure why...but, they are identical....Right down to the operating system number. That NEVER HAPPENS!
