What's the better cold air intake system? Or any other CAI system?
Who has the best price?
What do you define as better? If keeping your IAT's near ambient, they are pretty much all the same. If your talking performance, they are pretty much all the same too. In fact, the "free cold air mod" is pretty close in performance to CAI's. If you are talking how much bugs, sand, leaves and other crapola hits your filter, then you dont want a front feeder like a Vararam, you want a back feeder like a Calloway Honker that stays squeeky clean. If you are talking quality of materials...Halltech, Vortex, LP, Callaway all
are superior to the Vararam's questionable quality. Do you drive in the rain and could hit standing water or puddles? Then you dont want a front feeder, less risk with a back feeder and almost no risk of ingesting water with the stock filter. So you can see, there is a lot more too it than just a one word recommendation!
