Default Pfadt Competition sways Arm Assembly ?

I'm putting the arms on the sway bars and I can't get the arms perfectly parallel. Is this common? I guess I can mount the bars and use the slack in the turnbuckles to keep each side statically unloaded, but was expecting the arms to line up better then they are. Experiences out there with this? Thanks.

Hi Dicecal,

You'll want to use our alignment tool that is supplied to get the arms aligned on the bar, the arms should be very close if not perfect. If you are with in 1-2 splines from side to side you'll be fine. You can adjust the pre-load using the endlinks. If the arms are within 1-2 splines side to side the difference at the endlink should only be 1 or 2 threads.

The nice feature on the Comp endlinks is you don't need to remove one end from the sway bar arm or control arm, simply turn the turnbuckle to shorten or lengthen the endlinks. I would recommend starting the endlinks as short as possible and adjusting from that point.

Please feel free to call or email us anytime with questions, we're always here to help. Thank you for choosing Pfadt products and have a great day!
