The shocks offer a lot more *feed back* from the car with dampening and rebound adjustments now that can be made easily and to your driving needs.
The shocks are also much more durable versus their stock counterparts, and wont break the bank.
I personally have tracked a car with and without , and it allowed me to feel the cars mass much better and response.
