The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I didn't know about the fuse option, that's a lot ez'er that jacking up the car and getting to the solenoid. Drove me nuts driving the car with that 1-4 shift only. Fisrt mod. I did.

But personally, I would get someone to improve the factor tune. In HP Tuners you can easily to disable the CAGS along with a few minor tweaks such are more aggressive timing at cruise, lean out the PE, and less timing pulled out when intake temp increases.

This works great on my car.
If you just pull the fuse I think it will eventually throw a code. At least I believe that is correct.
Please don't misunderstand. I am not doing any burnouts or power-shifting. I don't intend to, either. I have had enough of blowing engines, transmissions, clutches, and rear ends to last me a lifetime. I'm talking about '55 Chevy, "57 Chevy, '61 Pontiac Ventura, "64 ChevyII, and probably a few others that I'm not remembering right now.
I've been driving vehicles with manual transes since I was nine years old and still enjoy it.
I did notice a yellow Vette pictured next to one of the replies and for a second I was trying to figure out how the 'forum" got a picture of my car.
Hope to talk to you all soon and thanks again,
