Default C6 Power Wire Routing Question

I plan to put a 250-300W Mini amp in the passenger side rear cubby for the JL stleath box on the driver side.

I would think the easiest/best way to route the power wire from the battery to the rear passenger cubby would be under the car. Then also find a ground point close to this cubby.

Does anyone have any suggestions where to route this power wire besides under the car? What size/length of wire should I buy?

Also does any one know of the closest ground point without drilling a hole in the frame?

I think you'd be a heck of a lot safer running that wire inside the car, less worry about the insulation wearing off the wire. Some folks slice & re-seal the factory grommet behind the battery to pass the wire through, but I drilled a new hole behind the battery and use a compression grommet. Then you just run the wire down the passenger side into the back. There's a factory ground under the B pillar trim next to the seat back you can tie off to.
