I have heard great thigns about the PFC 01 pads on the track but I don't want to swap pads for the street and track all the time. What's the compromise going from the track day pad to the 01 pad? Are both quiet when cold (street use)?

Both the track day pad (99 compound) and the 01 compound are "race" compounds and both will make noise on the street. Unfortunately, for ultimate stopping power on the track you have to live with the noise on the street.
First of all, I would like to thank everyone who purchased the 99 compound 0731 pads. They are a great pad and I wish we had more.
We are now running a special on the 01 compound 0731 pads for $ 188.00 ea. We don't have nearly as many of the 01s as we did the 99s so, this is limited to stock on hand. We are also running a special on the 7793 pads in 99 compound ( fit StopTech ST 60s ) for $ 235.00 ea. These also are limited to stock on hand.
