Gears and shift kit update
Alright I just changed my 2.73 gears in my 05 a4 to a set of rpm 3.42's. I also had a shift kit installed which for you jerks lucky enough to have waited a year and bought your car dont need one. Anyway after the gear swap the car was doing some crazy things due to the shift points needing to be changed.
Took it to the tuner had the shift kit installed and WOW! shift points are fixed and the shift kit has mad a huge difference in the way the car shifts. Under WOT the car shifts so smooth you cant even feel it.
The gears make the car pull like a mad rhino on steroids I cant wait to get it onto the track and see what it does.

C6 Batmoble your car must be a weapon now.The gears really woke my car up.I have a 05 a4 as well with 373 gears and 3200 stall,SPINS reconmended cam 228/232 everything else is the same as yours except I don't have heads.Im curious how much faster you will run with just a gear change.Let us know when you go to the track next.

I will definitly keep the crowd posted with results. I still have some work to do to this car after my next deployment which will include a spin fast intake and not sure what else yet. The mod list is getting out of control but Im hoping for some good results. The car is still pretty mild comparitavley and has really good street manners.....

With the idle at 700 you can barely tell it has a cam in it. I should be getting to the track the week after next hopefully. Im expecting some 10.9's possibly. My only real problem is that our d/a is normally pretty high (above 1000) and the track prep is really bad. I dont know how many guys I see not getting traction. We will see though and Ill post the results as always.
